Your bill, in kilowatts.
One number in, six out.
- Tariff
- ₹7.20 a unit, BESCOM residential
- Irradiance
- 4.4 kWh per kW per day, annual average
Estimated. Assumes an unshaded south-facing roof, 620 wp modules and current BESCOM residential tariffs. Payback uses a post-subsidy system cost and assumes no tariff increase. Your survey gives the real figure, and it is the figure we contract on.
Where each number comes from.
Capacity
What you consume today, and what you expect to add, set against what a kilowatt of solar produces on an average Bengaluru day. That is the array your consumption asks for, not what fits your slab.
Saving and payback
Saving is the reduction in what you pay BESCOM each month. Payback divides the post-subsidy system cost by the annual saving. Tariffs rise; we do not assume it.
Space
620 wp panels at 29 sq ft each, so a 5 kW array is 8 panels and about 232 sq ft of clear, unshaded roof.
CO₂
0.71 kg avoided for every unit you displace, and a grown tree absorbs about 20 kg a year. That is where the tree count comes from.
- Nothing your roof generates is wasted — surplus units are credited to you under net metering
- Every estimate here is superseded by your survey, which is free and carries an assured yield figure
The real number takes six minutes.
A survey costs nothing. You get a 3D shade analysis, a system size, your IRR and payback, and an assured yield figure for your address.
